Okumu Orphanage Project

Mum, it is my humble request that you assist my football kids who are all orphans.  They came from the village and are staying near the town area as street kids, because of the LRA war in Northern Uganda, and they are having no hope for a good future. They need food, housing and school.

So mum, let the favor of God come unto you that you may assist them. God Bless you mum  j.

Love,
Lawrence

This would be a great project for a church youth group or for anyone who is interested in supporting an already functioning team and family.  These are some really cool and nice kids that I myself would like to stay with!!

Jane

Our dear Mom,
How are you? Hoping all is fine…? Back to us, in the football (soccer) pitch, all is just fair. We were happy to hear that you really wanted to hear our voices too. This made us be with hope, to be visible to the outside world too.

Indeed Mom, football is a nice venture. We all like it and wish the almighty God could one day make us like the most famous football clubs in Europe like Manchester, United, Arsenal, Liverpool etc.

We too have some talented players with real football skill, who could play up to the level such as Christiano Ronald etc,
But the challenges we have is that we lack sports equipment such as: shoes, enough footballs, uniforms, medical care, proper feeding and education too. We also lack proper accommodation because some of us are total orphans due to war in Northern Uganda, and some are due to H.I.V /AIDS. So these problems made us to grow up as street kids yet we did not ask to live on earth.

But with God ’s glory we are happy that Lawrence made us known to you, and with God ’s glory we believe we shall be visible to the all world in some years to come through you.

Our football club has two groups that is;
First eleven and Second elevens too.
Tomorrow we shall be competing between the first elevens and second elevens. We are betting who will win. We also hope to hear your bettings too. We are waiting for your response.
May the almighty bless you …..!
OKELLO LAWRENCE & MORO PHILLIP.
